How do I know if I am eligible to participate?

To be eligible to participate in the smart thermostat program, you must:

• Be an Alliant Energy residential electric customer with an eligible Wi-Fi enabled thermostat.
• Have a Wi-Fi network that is always connected.
• Have central air conditioning connected to your smart thermostat(s).
    ◇ Participation in summer is required.
• Have an electric or gas furnace with fuel supplied by Alliant Energy connected to your smart thermostat(s).
    ◇ Participation in winter is optional.
• Not participate in Alliant Energy's Appliance Cycling program (Iowa residents only).

To be eligible to participate in the water heater program, you must:

• Be an Alliant Energy residential electric customer in Wisconsin.
• Have an electric water heater.
